This artwork is clustered with detail and it comes off astonishingly. Nothing feels out of place, and the two girls stand out vividly, whereas the Buildings in the background blend with the night sky. Not every light on each building is lit, creating a sense of realism, and buildings farther away are slightly less solid in color, depicting a clear sense of depth in the picture.

The clouds aren't stark white, and nor are they the same hue of purple as the rest of the sky, adding to the atmosphere instead of clashing with it. They each all have varying degrees of opacity and lighting as well. The very slight waves of white arcing across the sky break up what would be just be solid purple wonderfully.

With the two girls, and more specifically the one in black, the ripples of her dress are shaded and highlighted beautifully, and the white speckled pattern flows with it perfectly. Her hair is wonderfully shaded, and has a distinct direction that it flows in, along with free flowing strands. The highlights on her violin are well set apart from each other, and are subtle.

The girl in red's jacket has ample and well done shading in her sleeve's wrinkles, but are done in a slightly different manner, showing that the jacket isn't made of the same kind of material as the girl in black's clothing, or the rest of hers for that matter.

Lastly, the moon isn't one bright solid circle surrounded by light, it to has depth to give it a spherical appearance, and the swirls around it show it's glow, but without making it look blinding. The use of the low opacity straight strokes off to the side of the moon's main light beam make spectacular moonbeams themselves.

This is a truly wonderful picture and I can tell a lot of time and effort was spent here. Great job!
